Curb & Main

Terms of use

These cover this website. Renting one of our sites is covered by a separate written agreement, not by this page.

In short

These terms cover the curbandmain.com website only. Nothing on the site is an offer or a contract; working with Curb & Main is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties, and nobody is charged without one. Curb & Main owns the site, its content, and the local service websites, domains, and phone numbers it operates.

Who you are dealing with

This website is operated by Curb & Main, owned and run by Joey Posdijk and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 42177891. Contact: joey@curbandmain.com. Company details are on the About page.

This website is information, not an offer

Everything here describes what we do. The rent for a site is given in writing before anything starts; nothing here is an offer that can be accepted or a contract. If you work with us on one of our sites, that is set out in a written agreement signed by both of us, and that agreement is what counts. Nothing is charged to anybody who has not signed it.

Nothing here is advice

Nothing on this website is legal, tax, licensing, or financial advice. Contractors should check their own obligations with their state board or their own adviser.

What we own

The text, layout, and design of this website belong to Curb & Main. So do the local service websites we operate, their domain names, their content, and the phone numbers shown on them. You are welcome to link to this website or quote a short passage with attribution. Copying pages wholesale is not allowed.

Keeping it accurate

We keep this website accurate and update it when the facts change. If you find something on it that is wrong, tell us and we will correct it. We do not promise the website is always available or free of faults.

Text messages

We do not send marketing text messages. Two practical messages are built into our system and are switched off as of the date at the top of this page: a lead summary to the contractor who takes a town’s calls, sent to the number that contractor gave us when the assistant answers a call they missed; and a single reply to a caller we could not connect, sent only to the number that called, at most once in 24 hours. The Calls and messages page describes both.

Reply STOP to any message and it stops, and reply HELP for our name and how to reach us. Message frequency is low. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. How we handle your number is in the privacy notice.

Where we link to somebody else’s website, we are not responsible for what is on it.

Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
